Also change the format of the newsletter, so it was quick and easy to digest by introducing the concept of 10 things you need to know today, 5 things you may have missed, and one thing they really must read.
Keeping the newsletter design simple and uncluttered, giving the user just the headline only of the top news stories on the website. Encouraging them to click through from the newsletter to the site to read on.
