Inspired by a post on Designtaxi I created a quick prototype using the content from their infograph. Idea is that it would force the user to answer a series of questions before they were allowed to post anything to facebook.
The problem I see with this is that the “yes” and “no” options are in the same position, and the user could just get used to clicking without paying attention to what the screen is saying. Off the top of my head I cant think what could be done to prevent this. But the idea of the prototype is to force people to slow down before posting on Facebook, and actually think about what they are about to share.
First thoughts on slowing it down is to change the interaction from a button to click to something else. Maybe a doodle, where they have to write a “Yes” or “No” on their phone screen, or “Y”, “N”
