You can find a gem of an idea when you look at user needs, not just business needs

Today I saw an advert for Awaymo. Awaymo offers interest-free instalments for holiday flights.

For many, holidays are annual or more frequent events like winter, rain, or train delays. But we can be bad at saving up for them and may often not have the money ready when we see a great deal or desperately want to book a getaway. This can result in missed opportunities (boo) or going into debt to book a trip (boooooo).

User need: As someone that wants to go on holiday, I need to be able to book a flight when I want to without worrying I’ll go into debt.

I’ve yet to check it out thoroughly, but if Awaymo works in the way I imagine, there could be a big market of potential users.
